History
The company was established in 1967 in the town of Varshets with the opening of a factory for electromagnetic ballasts.
The factory was equipped with German machinery, using a German technology, manufacturing a great variety of lighting industry components.
Since 2000, Electrostart JSCo is a private venture of 100% Bulgarian capital. The company produces LED lighting fixtures, components for LED lighting, electronic ballasts, transformers, ignitors and electromagnetic ballasts for fluorescent lamps, metal-halide, sodium and mercury lamps. Currently Electrostart JSCo is the sole Bulgarian manufacturer of electromagnetic ballasts and one of the few companies in Bulgaria, producing LED lighting fixtures and LED components.
While the company aims to to deliver to its customers high quality LED products with a great variety, Electrostart JSCo continuously improves the production technology and quality control through implementation of automatic, modern and energy-efficient equipment. All these factors are the reason for being one of the big and fast developing companies on the Balkan peninsula.
Electrostart JSCo is a registered trademark in the European Union, along with a number of countries in the Middle East, Northern Africa and South America. The company has a consistent representation on the markets in over 40 countries around the world, spreading over 4 continents.
